Google nest doorbell announcement

I only want to have the "ding dong " sound instead of having "someone's at the front door". It's so annoying, redundant and meaningless. 

everyone knows whenever there is a ding dong there should be someone there. Why google keeps making such meaningless things?

If there is no improvement in one year, I probably throw this nest doorbell away and replace with Arlo.

Since we have 3 doorbells, if the "Someone's at the xxxxxx door" announcement were removed or made optional, it would then be helpful to have different "ding-dong" tones for each doorbell.

But at least we should the right to choose the preferred way with Only ringtone, or ringtone with announcement.  As it's just a very common feature which all other brands exist
