I have a Google nest doorbell wired gen2 , I y wondering if it can be connected to Indian household. The power supply is 220V AC and as far as I understand, there are no transformers installed in a typical Indian household. What is the extra requirements for such an installation.

Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen) is not officially sold or supported in India, so you will not get any warranty or support from Google, unfortunately. With that said, you need a transformer that is rated for 16-24 V AC, 10-40 VA to provide enough power to the doorbell, that's a requirement for the doorbell to function.

There is a good chance that even if you get the power correct that the app will not function properly on your phone. Google has licensing agreements and laws it has to follow for camera devices in every country. For that reason you will need to purchase a new camera from a reseller in that country.
