Google nest doorbell wired set up.

New Google nest doorbell installation fail. When I scan the symbol it tells me to type in the 21 digit number . To no avail . I have Google home. I had my phone right there next to it.

Are you by any chance trying to scan a QR code on the BOX in which your camera came?

You need to scan the QR code printed on the back of your doorbell. It is also printed on the Quick Start Guide. If that does not work, you can select "Continue without scanning" and enter the 6-character alphanumeric setup code that is usually printed above or below the QR code.
