Google nest doorbell

I connected my doorbell yesterday and everything seemed to be working fine with the activity being logged.

When i checked the app this morning all the past activity is gone. Anyone have any idea why it's not logged?

Unless you have a Nest Aware subscription, your camera only saves event video history for the most recent 3 hours.

With a new camera, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial subscription:

I also no longer are seeing ANY activity screenshots  for the past 3 hours..... even double checking to make sure the it's turned ON in the app.... what gives?

Could you please answer the following questions to gather further details and determine an optimal resolution?
  • What model of Nest device do you have? For your reference, review this article: Technical specs for Nest cameras and doorbells.
  • Do you have a Nest Aware subscription? If so, what type of subscription do you have?
  • What is the status light on your Nest device?
  • Are you using the Google Home app or the Nest app?
  • Is the Nest device receiving a good Wi-Fi signal strength? Have you checked the distance from the device to your router?
  • Has anything changed in the Nest device view that might be affecting its ability to detect motion?
