My nest doorbell is chipping and peeling underneath the gloss layer. It looks terrible. Haven’t even had it that long yet, and don’t feel this should be happening. Also, to clarify…it is not the film that’s supposed to be removed at installation. It’s the plastic outer casing itself. How do I go about getting that fixed?

mine too and they wont replace it cause its 3 years old. passed the 1 year warranty. mine was peeling but my bigger issue was it power cycling without end. they didnt care about either issue. they will pretend to inquire with you and co operate but in the end they will dismiss you.

Well that’s a total bummer. Mines not even 2 years old and they won’t do anything about it? Will definitely be the last nest item I purchase if they don’t have better support than this
