I moved into a house with an existing doorbell. When I tried to reset the doorbell it came unwired. After reworking it (without turning off the power) the doorbell is stuck on the constant green light. No blue light for setup, won’t ring, etc. Tried to do a factory reset and the green light goes off for a bit, then just comes back on. Wondering if I fried the doorbell by hooking it up to the hot (low voltage) wires. Thanks.

It is awkward to hold down the doorbell button and the reset button on the Nest Hello Doorbell for at least 10 seconds while keeping it connected to your doorbell wires (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9252162?hl=en&sjid=1248497602877295312-NA#zippy=%2Cnest...).
If you're just getting a green light (meaning the doorbell is connected to Wi-Fi), perhaps the factory reset didn't occur, and you could try again.
