Google nest wired doorbell not recognised in Alexa partnering as a doorbell only as a camera

Ok 

at present i have a google home hub where the doorbell works fine no issues says someones at the door and shows a feed

camera can be set to send me notifications but not the doorbell why

Allow events and associated snapshots to be sent to Amazon so that you can receive notifications of events and view associated snapshots using Alexa.

An event can include a camera seeing motion, a person or a doorbell press event. This permission will also allow Alexa to know your camera’s status, like if your camera is offline.
