Google nest wont connect

My google nest camera won't connect & my phone is connected to my home wifi.

If you want to talk to Support, try this:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

If you want assistance or suggestions from other customers in this forum, it would help if you provided some additional details about what's happening in your case.

Wow! I'm having the same issue! I can't get in contact with ANYONE. I've tried Google Support, Google email, and Google Nest Advisor. All of them are saying UNAVAILABLE. ☹️

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

 

  • What model of Nest camera do you have?
  • When did the inconvenience start?
  • Are you getting any error messages?
  • Is your Nest camera offline?
  • How far is the camera from the router?
  • Do you have other Nest devices in the house?
  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the camera?
  • Has the camera ever successfully connected to this network?

In the meantime, let's check a few things:

 

  • Check Wi-Fi Strength: Ensure your camera is within range of your router and that the Wi-Fi signal is strong.
  • Restart Router: A simple restart can often resolve connection issues.
