Hello,
I use to be able to pull up history on my nest camera and all of a sudden it is gone within a few hours. For example my dog was barking at 2am and I ignored her but woke up around 8:30am to see that I had a notification on my phone that someone was seen on the camera. I went to view it in the app and it was no longer even there. Very frustrating since it didn’t do that before. I could view a whole days history pretty much. Please help?

Has your free 30-day trial Nest Aware subscription expired? Or your regular Nest Aware subscription? Without a subscription, you only have access to event video history for the most recent 3 hours (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9681538).
You can check your subscription here: https://store.google.com/subscriptions

Hi, I don’t recall signing up for Nest aware ever. I have had the camera now for over a year, maybe even two years. And isn’t Nest aware no longer supported?

Google Nest has NOT dropped support for its Nest Aware subscriptions. In fact, they just raised the prices. Our annual Nest Aware Plus subscription renews in June 2024. Google Nest sells Nest Aware subscriptions here:

Google Nest has also NOT dropped support for the Google Nest app. We use it every day for all of our older Google Nest cameras and doorbells.
On Sept. 29, Google Nest DID drop support for "Works with Nest", which was a way for smart home devices from other manufacturers to work with Google Nest devices. See this post for details:
If you do NOT have a Nest Aware subscription of any kind, then for newer Google Nest cameras and doorbells released starting in Sept. 2021, you only have access to event video history for the most recent 3 hours, and for older Google Nest cameras, you only have access to snapshots of events for the most recent 3 hours.
