Having trouble setting up a new Nest CAM (wired indoors)

Purchased a new Nest Camera indoor-wired). can not get it installed on either the nest or google home app. 

app can not find the camera. Initially, the camera blue light was on but the app could not do the setup. Disconnecting the power and trying again, I get no blue light. Would like to get help

The newer 2nd gen Google Nest cameras released starting in Sept. 2021 only get installed in the Google Home app.

You could try doing a factory reset (as explained in the Help topic below, after the "Restart" instructions).  Then you should get a blue status light and could try the install again.
