Help!! Cant add to Nest App

I have the Gen 2 Nest Doorbell.  I added it to my Google Home but I cannot add it to my Nest App?? 

Since I cannot add Notifications from the Google Home App I cannot get notified if someone rings the doorbell. How do I add it to the Nest app?

Google Nest's newer cameras released starting in Sept. 2021 work only in the Google Home app.

Why can't you set up Notifications for your 2nd gen doorbell in the Google Home app?  You should be able to.  (Unfortunately, those of us with older and newer cameras and/or doorbells are stuck with getting notifications from 2 different apps.)

@rkgallup, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. Were you able to read the information that MplsCustomer has shared? You can get your notification from your Google Home app. 

Give these steps a try: 

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. Tap Favorites or Devices .
3. Tap and hold your device's tile More Settings .
4. Select Notifications.
