Why Googlenest cameras offline and can not be easily reconnected when every time after power Outage

Hi
I need help if you know the resolution.
I have both indoor and outdoor nest cameras (wire and bayyery ), I noticed everytime the power outage due to bad weather, I was unable to reactivate all of my cameras after having electricity back on. Does not matter that I am at home or away from home, why?

If you already experienced with this issue, please kindly share.

Much appreciate,

Anthony

Sometimes we have to briefly unplug one of our older Google Nest Outdoor Cameras to get it back online, and not necessarily the same one.

Hello everyone,

@Anthonytran5362, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I'd like to check if you have confirmed if your other smart devices are having the same issue? Your Nest Cameras would wait for your Wi-Fi router to reconnect to the internet before they can connect with it. Sometimes, the re-connection is not successful, that's why you need to perform a simple restart with them. Let us know if you have more questions in mind.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Regards,

Emerson

Hi Anthonytran5362,

I'm dropping by to ensure that everything is covered here. How's it going with your Nest Camera? We would appreciate it if you could share the information I’m asking above. Also, were you able to perform the steps I’m suggesting? We'd be glad to hear from you.

Best,

Emerson

Just one final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, we would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let us know.

Thanks,
