We just got the new batter operated Nest Cams and all seems working good but I can't get them to show in Blue Iris or Frigate using Homeassistant. I read that if you want to enable 24/7 recording in Blue Iris or Frigate that you need to enable the camera with a shared link from your Home Nest app. How can I do this if the new cameras are not compatible with the Nest App? The Home Google Apps does not have an option to enable a shared url. Is there an alternative?
Also, can someone share some insight how to get their nest cams (battery) to record in Blue-Iris or Frigate?
I tried rtsp option in BlueIRis but it can't find the camera since it looks like rtsp is not enabled for the camera.
Thanks
Greg

I've not looked into those services you mention but I suspect they only work with the older Nest Cams that are setup in the Nest app. The newest Nest Cams are designed and setup for the Home app, you cannot add them to the Nest app.

Hi everyone,
@sh4dow1234, Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To confirm, was it working before or is this the first time you're trying to connect your Nest Camera to the Blue Iris or Frigate app? Have you tried checking from Blue Iris and Frigate if they are compatible with Nest Cameras? The Nest Cameras works best on Nest app and Google Home app. Let us know your update here.
I appreciate the help, davidking.

Emerson
