Hi all,
I appear to have an issue with my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (only - all other devices and browser work). Whenever I try and download a video camera clip to my phone the "download failed" message appears. I enabled all possible permissions to the app. I also tried deactivating the new auto block feature on One UI 6.1.1 - but to no avail.
Any idea what could cause this?
Thanks a lot -

Ok for anyone with the same issue in the future...
I managed to get it to work by turning off the new "auto blocker" feature in OneUI 6.1.1
Disabling it alone didn't help. I also had to restart the phone after.
Not ideal because you'd like to keep this new security feature enabled... But I guess that's the only way at the moment. Maybe Samsung and Google can sort this bug out...

Where did you find this "auto blocker"?
I have same issue. Infact I have even more simular issues.
I cant play back video history from Google Home (from my wired nest cam) on my Samsung S24. But playback and download works fine from my iPhone 12.
This is very weird!

Forgot to mention.
I also have a Google Doorbell (battery). And exactly the same issue.
I used to work for months, but the last coupple of weeks it has been working on/off.. Today it seem to be an static issue.

I didn't have the playback issues. Just the usual Nest glitches were some video playback sometimes gets stuck because of buffering. Often rebooting the app helps. I remember I had an issue like this with a OnePlus phone once. Changing the colour/display settings helped there. Not sure if the same applies to Samsung phones.
You can find the auto blocker in your settings and then just use the search function. There is a toggle in the security and privacy settings. Remember to restart the phone afterwards.

Auto blocker is off and have been all the time. So I guess it doesnt fix my problems, unfortunatly.

Did you restart your phone? But my issue was never about playback - only about the downloading of the clips.
Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the Google Home app on your phone?

OK - looks like the auto blocker feature doesn't make a difference - but just restarting the phone helps... ###?

Has anyone found a fix? I've been on two chat sessions with Google, un-installed and reinstalled and tried all sorts of things but their only fix is to use Google Takeout to have Goole email me a link for a days worth of video clips. This seems like a terrible way to handle things and makes my subscription fee look like a complete waste.
