I see where several other frustrated users have received useless non-responses to the question of when we will be able to set up new nest cameras to view on windows pc. My older wired cameras and doorbell work fine at home.nest.com, but the new cameras are apparently only viewable on my phone. This is an absurd giant step backwards! I want to be able to use the largest viewing screen I have, not the smallest! When will this get fixed? Had I known of this issue I would not have wasted money buying new cameras that are virtually useless, and will certainly not buy any more. Do Amazon Ring products have this same ridiculous effing problem??

It's absolutely ridiculous that Google Products do not integrate with Google Products.

Now I'm getting an error message saying "Try moving closer to your Nest Cam (battery)". I wish I could post a photo. My phone and the camera are literally 1/8" apart. Any closer and they will be physically touching. I'm going to take this junk back to the store and see if they will refund.

I just returned $1000 worth of cameras due to this stupid issue. Whatever damned fool at Google decided that security camera video should be impossible to view on anything but the smallest screen should be demoted if not fired.

Hey folks,
Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App or available on https://bit.ly/3HtBgJC web app. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration.
However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support.
Best Regards,
Brad

We understand being able to integrate all the google products, but that still doesn't answer the question listed above as to why we can't view the nest cameras on a PC web browser. It makes no sense to only have it viewable on mobile devices. I have my older nest cameras set up to where I can view them from my second PC screen in a control center kind of way. Now I have to also have my phone set up to display any other camera footage from the newer Nest Cam (battery)? Yeah, that makes no sense....I'd expect it wouldn't take much effort on Google's end to create a web browser based Google home setup and integrate all the Nest cameras into one display center...
Brad, any update on when Google will fix this and actually integrate these Nest cameras into a web based browser set up? Until this is fixed, I honestly prefer the older Nest software.

Hey there,
We're sorry to hear that this feature isn't available. The Google Home web app isn't quite available. As far as we are aware according to this blog post, there are still plans to release a web app for Google Home. I do not have any other form of time frame, so please refer to the blog post for further information.
Best regards,
Brad
