I just installed my new nest doorbell battery and hub display. When the doorbell rings, all existing google speakers and chromecast devices receive the notification.

We have Google mimi's in most bedrooms in the house who don't need to be notified if the doorbell rings.

I want the notification to come through to the hub display device only.

Is this possible? I can't seem to find any option that allows me to select specific devices to receive the doorbell notifications.

Hi there, Hakan.

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. You will want to go into the settings for each device that you do not want to get those notifications for, and change the settings so no notifications will go through. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Best Regards,

Brad.

I have a similar question. Today all google and Chrome devices give notification about the doorbell ring. This is quite annoying since the notifications are in no way synced either.

@Brad ’s reply about notifications is unfortunately incorrect since that only applies to the google speakers. I cannot turn off notifications on the Google TV or Chromecast built-in in my stereo, since there are no notifications setting in those devices. I then assume the notifications setting also affects the ring (doorbell button push).

For the sake of showing this needs some attention - I am always looking for a solution to this.
