I can't retrieve video & audio from my NEST doorbell camera from last night...does it go away in 24 hours? How can I retrieve it?

Unless you have a Nest Aware subscription, you can only see events that occurred in the last 3 hours.

The page below shows what history you get for each device and subscription level:

To view history, go to your doorbell in the Google Home app, select History, and then Full History.

i'm unsure about the doorbell but the "google nest outdoor battery camera " keeps video for 3 hours without a "nest aware" subscription ! The cheapest nest aware is 6.00 / month or 60.00 / year and covers ALL Google nest Devices !! Not a bad deal .....

Hi there,

Thanks for bringing up the concern you're having. I'd love to look into this for you. Here is a great link on how Nest Aware works and how to subscribe. In addition, here is a link on how to manage your subscription.

Best regards,

Brad
