I have lots of devices on my Home Wifi, including cameras.
I've got Point to Point Wifi to another building and an Access Point in the other building that has a different SSID. That Access Point is still connected to my Home Network, which is wired into my Google Mesh Router. I want to put two Google Cameras in the other building. How can I connect to the other SSID?
The set-up is like this.
Google Router <--wired connection--> P2P device <--wireless connection--> P2P device 2 <--wired connection--> Access Point that has Wifi with a different SSID to the Google Router.
I can connect my phone to the Access Point SSID and the speeds are as fast as on the Home Wifi because that P2P wireless connection is faster than my fibre connection to the internet at home.
I can't see how to connect the Cameras to this alternate SSID.

All of the Google Nest devices in a Google Nest "home/structure" have to be on the same Wi-Fi network. (A few long-time customers who set theirs up years ago may still have devices on more than one Wi-Fi network in the same Google Nest "home/structure", but that is no longer possible.) If you want to set up a Google Nest camera on a separate Wi-Fi network, you'll need to set up a separate Google Nest "home/structure", which will--unfortunately--therefore require a separate Nest Aware subscription.

Wow.
That's a little... crazy. This is all the same network really though. Is there no workaround?

I don't think so. I've seen posts in this forum from longtime customers running more than one Wi-Fi network on the same Google Nest "home/structure" who were unable to replace an aging Google Nest doorbell without creating a new Google Nest "home/structure" if it had to be on a different Wi-Fi network as their other Google Nest devices.
A few old posts in this forum claim Google Nest implemented this restriction to prevent a customer creating a Google Nest "home/structure" with one Nest Aware subscription covering several physical homes (with separate Wi-Fi networks) in their extended family (or friends sharing a Nest Aware subscription across several physical homes).

I guess that makes sense in some way. Shame.
