How to download multiple clips at once

Dorudon

I have the Nest subscription that stores multiple camera recordings for 30 days.  I have several hours of video recorded from a block of time I need to download. Despite there being several persons in the throughout the duration, for some reason instead of one (or several) long clips, there are lots of small clips of a few minutes each. It is time consuming to go to the Android Home app and download one at a time. Is there any way of selecting all the clips within a range of time to download?  I tried via Firefox browser  on my PC as well, and although it showed me the nine cameras streaming live, I could not drill down into recordings. Perhaps it requires Chrome?

Google Nest only lets us download video clips of detected and recorded events one clip at a time.

Hi everyone,

@Dorudon, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, which Nest Camera do you have? For Google Home app: you can only download video clips from detected events in the video history. You can't download video clips from footage with no activity. The maximum clip length setting for your camera or doorbell will affect how long video clips can be. For Nest app:  you can only use the Nest app to download video clips that are created in the Nest app. You can't download video clips created on a computer with the Nest app. To learn more, you may visit our public website “Save and download video clips".

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Regards,

Emerson

What a MASSIVE fail.  So I need to manually select and download every clip?!?

It's been that way as long as we've been Google Nest customers starting in 2019.
