How to get the 6 digit number for already installed nest doorbell

toonsix

Hi

I do have the serial number on the box. Who do I contact to get the 6 digit number of the nest doorbell?

I have access to the Nest doorbell on my samsung phone under my gmail account.

I want to add it to my wife's iphone under her gmail account. I tried to add the nest doorbell but could not scan the QR code. Need the 6 digit number.

My email; #

Bought at Best Buy, route 10, East Hanover, NJ 07950 in 2021.

How to update to generation 2?

Thanks

There are videos on YouTube that will tell you how to remove the doorbell camera it might be hard to remove, but I’ve done it several times. Take a picture of the back of your doorbell once it’s removed. Make sure to write down the 6 digit number & serial number. Those numbers will come in handy when you need them. Meaning the serial number and 6 digit code will come in handy if your cameras or doorbell is stolen.

I finally figured out how to get my floodlights back. I had to delete every device on the google home app. Delete the google home app. Shut down your phone for a couple of minutes. Unplug your router for 2 minutes, then restart router and turn on your phone. Do a factory reset of all your google cameras, holding the little button in the back of the cameras for approximately 20 seconds. I had to bring my cameras in to charge while reinstalling each camera. Once reinstalled back into the google home app the floodlight came back on. Put your camera back onto the floodlight magnet and adjust your view. At this time the only thing I have left is the google doorbell camera.

Hi there!

To share the camera feed and history with your wife, there is no need to retrieve the six digit code or serial number. All you need to do is share the home with her. Regardless of which version of the Nest Doorbell you have, you will need the Google Home app to share it with her. Please follow these instructions provided by Google on how to share your doorbell. Click here. As for your second question (I am assuming you're asking how to upgrade to the second generation Nest Doorbell (Wired)), the second generation Nest Doorbell (Wired) is completely new product so you would have to purchase it to "update" to it.

Please reply back if you have any more questions!

The wife is already on the account, but when you lose the front door or back door. Camera’s she looses it akso
