I can't factory reset

Hello, I bought a Doorbell Nest second hand and I can't factory reset it. I Press the reset button (in the pinhole) at the same time as the Bell button and nothing happens.

If you have Nest Doorbell (battery), you don't press the bell button during the reset process. First make sure the doorbell still has power and insert and hold the pin/paperclip/thumbtack against the reset pin:

  • At 10 seconds, the status light will blink yellow four times, and you’ll hear a countdown tone.
  • At 12 seconds, the status light will be steady, solid yellow while the doorbell starts the factory reset, and you’ll hear a confirmation tone. You can then release the pin.
