Did you give your new router the EXACT same name and password as your previous router?  

No, not sure how this is helpful.

It is helpful as a starting point in the conversation because if you replace your WIFI router and give it a new name and password then you are likely in a world of hurt when it comes to getting the nest cameras to see the new router.  If you read thru this forum you will see the extreme difficulties a lot of people have when they do this.   Some people don't ever get their cameras back on-line.

If you configure your new WiFi router with the same network name (SSID) and password as your old router, you don't have to reconfigure your Google Nest cameras, doorbells, and other devices. They should just come back online. That's what we did when we got a new WiFi router.
