I just bought the battery doorbell and 4 cams, only to find that I cannot monitor them in Nest.

I just got my new "Nest" doorbell (battery operated) and 4 of the battery operated cameras - only to find out that I cannot monitor them along with all my other cameras on my Nest page. So how are they "Nest" cams?

I monitor all my cameras a large screen while I'm in my office so I can see what my kids are doing throughout the house. I have about half of my house and one outside cam covered, and I was waiting for these next ones to come in so I can have a complete view. This enables me to watch my kids while I'm working at my desk. It's an awesome thing, and I was very much looking forward to having my whole house covered. I mounted these new ones the moment they arrived, as well as the doorbell.

Now I'm being told that to see the feed from any of these cameras, including the doorbell, I have to pick up my phone, unlock it, open the Home app, scroll to the correct room, select the camera, and then I get to look at that specific feed. Yay. How nice.

I am having a tough time accepting that Google really screwed this up so badly. I have googlized my entire home and I'm just not willing to accept that all this stuff I just installed is basically useless for my purposes. Is this real? The only way to view these cameras in on my freaking phone? One at a time?  Please tell me there is a solution for this. Thanks.

Note: I have since found that they can be monitored on my Nest Hub, one at a time. That's slightly relieving, but I am still not sure why Google would remove the capability of monitoring multiple cameras from a website. That is such a useful, obviously beneficial feature that I can't imagine why it would be taken away.

Hi KacyRay,,,, you will notice a lot of other people here complaining of the same thing.  We were really let down by Google on this. 😠

me to. I want to watch multiple cameras at the same time as I could with my 10 year old cctv. This is shocking Google can’t do this I was going to buy the home hub max but even this won’t allow it.
