Hey Maggie_may,

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear about your experience signing up for Nest Aware subscription.

Since you just recently migrated, you can continue with your existing Nest Aware subscriptions and also make changes such as updating forms of payment and cancelling them. Non-migrated Nest account users looking to switch to 2nd gen will see a new switch flow to switch each home structure that has 1st gen subscriptions to 2nd gen. This flow includes the same Google account and structure migration flow. Switching a structure to 2nd gen requires setting up Google Pay. However, you are not forced to switch all home structures to 2nd gen and any 1st gen subscriptions you decide not to switch will continue to be billed through the Nest Store (or gStore if you’ve already migrated payments). Please note that once migrated to a Google account, you will not be able to add new Nest Aware (1st gen) subscriptions to your account.

Best,

Melba
