Hello!
I installed my Nest (wired) doorbell about 3 years ago and everything was working fine until a week or so ago. At this time we noticed we could no longer hear the chime, neither the outside (nest doorbell) nor the inside (previously installed) chime would ring when the bell was pressed. After updating the app and changing settings the issue has settled on the following: when the “indoor chime on/off” slider is set to on, the indoor chime works but the outdoor (nest doorbell one) doesn’t. When the “indoor chime on/off” slider is set to off, the outdoor (nest doorbell) chime works but the indoor one doesn’t. It’s not a wiring issue as none of that has changed. I believe this is a pure settings/software issue as it was working fine for years… Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on how I can get both the indoor and outdoor chimes to work simultaneously when the doorbell is pressed (as it had been for years)?

Nest stopped working with Apple products, are you trying to use an mac or iPhone to connect?

I use an iPhone to connect but how would that change the setting on the doorbell to only allow only either the indoor or outdoor chime after working simultaneously for 3 years straight? Sounds like a firmware/software update issue to me…
