These are Google Nest's directions for changing the Wi-Fi settings for cameras and doorbells: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9223711

This can be problematic. In fact, for the first option, Google Nest says: "The simplest fix for most Nest products is to update your home network so that the network name (SSID) and password are the same as before." This worked for us when we updated a new modem/router, so we didn't have to make any changes to our old or new cameras or doorbells.  I don't know whether that would work for you now that you've removed your camera(s).

If keeping the same network name and password doesn't work for you, you can see if Google Nest's instructions under "Use the Google Home app" actually work.

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I'm terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue, I understand how upsetting this could be, but I'm happy to assist you with this issue. If you are running into difficulties with your Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell, I would suggest that try the same steps that @MplsCustomer has suggested. That would be the best process for you to try.

Best Regards,
Brad
