Linking Eufy Cameras to Google Home

Hi all,

I am trying to link my Eufy Cameras to my google home app and am having issues. My google nest connects perfectly and shows live video. However, when I try to connect my eufy cameras, they show up under “cameras” but never actually load video. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks for a response Byron! This has happened since I got the Eufy cameras a few months ago. They connected to my google home app just fine but have never had a video stream. They function perfectly in the Eufy app with good connection and good video stream. My google home app is up to date and it is controlled by iPhone.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I appreciate all the information provided. Based on your answers, please follow these recommendations:

• Remove and re-add your Eufy cameras from the Google Home app.
• Set a nickname for your device. Here are the steps:

1. Open the Google Home app
2. Tap your device's tile and then Settings.
3. Tap Name.
4. Enter a name and then tap Save.

• Additionally, to control your devices more easily, assign them to a room in your home. Please add your Eufy cameras to an existing room in your current home. Here are the steps:

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Tap Favorites or Devices.
3. Tap your device's tile and then Settings.
4. Tap Room or Placement.
5. And then tap Choose a room and tap Next.

I have actually already done these things. Everything is set up like it should work but it just looks like it’s loading the whole time.
