Live Video Unavailable. The Camera may be unreachable or saving battery

Starting from Tue, my nest doorbell (battery) cannot show the live view. I tried to hard reset & it resume normal for a while. After a hour, it cannot show the live view again. What can I do to fix the issue permanently? Thank you!

I'm navigating the same issue. I went as far as purchasing a new doorbell just to have the exact same issue with the new doorbell. So, I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware issue. When will a firmware or software update be available?

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

 

  • Did you change your Wi-Fi network recently?
  • What Wi-Fi frequency band did you connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
  • Has the Nest Doorbell ever successfully connected to this network?
  • Are you getting any error messages?
  • How far is the Nest Doorbell from the router?
  • Are there other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi where the Doorbell is connected?
  • What's the status LED light?
