Live Video Unavailable

I've had my battery nest doorbell for a little over a month now. I charged it this past Friday after the battery died. I noticed yesterday that when I click live view, it more often than not will tell me "camera is unavailable" . I still get notifications but just cannot view the live image most of the time. I have restarted the camera and wifi network, I have also deleted and did a factory reset. Still having issues. It seems like I have read many post especially several months ago about this happening. Has anyone come up with a fix?

Same here, I went about 1 to 2 years with my cameras being fine but for the last two weeks they will not load live video. I still get notices but nothing live. I tried reset, factory reset and I had a 4 hour power outage which I hoped would fix it... Nope. All the same afterwards. Idk what Google did but this is bull s**t. I have 4 cameras and now none work like advertised. I am about to toss them and go to a new brand/company. Also, Google, quit closing threads that don't have resolutions. I am glad one person fixed it by some luck but the other 9 people still have the issue and you lock the thread

One thing I have noticed is it had been working when I pull it up on my best hub. Currently on the cell phone which is a pixel 6, I'm having issues.

Hey there,

Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

Best regards,
Brad

Hey Brad, I have restarted and performed a factory reset and I'm still having some issues. I can pull it up on my hub, but it does take a minute or two to load. I've restarted WiFi too and still no changes.

Have you attempted to check your phone for an app update that may have been sent through? Also, what are your Wi-Fi speeds like? Please let me know.

Best regards,

Brad

We actually just upgraded our speeds to 1 gig and our upload speeds are in the 40s Mbps. Experimenting now to see if it's better

Well after checking off and on, I'm still having issues viewing live feed even with an internet upgrade. It happens occasionally but most of the time it doesn't work. All notifications still work and alerts.

Still having some issues. Any idea on a fix?

I haven't gotten anything to change. Still will show events but no live feed. I am starting to think about just replacing them with a different brand at this point. I have done so many resets and factory resets it is super annoying.

I found something odd today, if I go to any of my 4 wireless Nest Battery powered cameras in the Google Home App and go to Settings > Events > Seen Events it loads the video and lets me set a Zone also. This works when I am on the same wireless network and when I am away from the house on a totally different wireless network.

But I am still not seeing them show live video like they used to. It still says it is Unavailable and gives me the Retry button which doesn't change anything, it tries to load and then it just says Unavailable and shows the Retry button putting me in an endless loop.

And now last week I no longer get any event pushes to my phone, but it does capture events if I go into the app. The live video is still broken and when trying to set zones, it now doesn't load the video which was the only way I was able to view video.
