Nest doorbell battery live video unavailable.
Nest doorbell battery decided it no longer wants to show live video. If someone rings the doorbell it will randomly show live stream some of the time for a minute or two. It's like the door bell goes idle and won't wake up when you select live video.
I've already tried factory reset as well as creating a new home altogether and the issue still persists. This all started when my parents upgraded their Internet services and had to factory reset to connect it to the new router. I've logged into the router and it shows the doorbell is connected and it's not blocking it.
Did factory reset kill the doorbell or maybe a bad software update get pushed?
I keep seeing similar threads that keep getting locked without any real solutions we're just trying to find answers and a solution to why our doorbells no longer working like it's supposed to

Hi there,
I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I would love to help however I can. This looks to be a trending issue at this time, so we are looking into this further. I am afraid I do not have a solution at this time. Try to Factory Reset them and try again. Make sure that all of your apps are updated.
Best Regards,
Brad

Jeran, I need a solution or answers still not able to view live video after multiple, multiple, multiple factory data resets....
It appears that it's a trending issue according to the above comment.
It will work briefly after each reset then back to live video unavailable and will randomly very hit or miss work if someone rings the doorbell 🤷🏻♂️

Brad this has nothing to do with nest aware it's either a hardware or software issue that needs addressing. Everything thing was working fine until the above mentioned factory reset to connect to a new router. They have nest aware but it is not required to have a nest aware subscriptions to view live feeds on demand for nest products to the best of my knowledge but again we have an active subscription so it's not nest aware but thanks anyway. We were always able to view live prior to subscribing.

We'll be cancelling nest aware though until this issue is resolved seeing as we're paying for a service we can't use. As many people complaining about this it would be nice for someone to provide direction. Anything would be better than nothing. A we're working on a fix or we'll send you a new one 🤷🏻♂️
