Nest doorbell battery worked for a few months, then live and recorded video stopped working. Green light shows and camera detects objects. Visitor announcement works.

Restarted and factory reset doorbell several times. Also restarted router.

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. I want to check if you are still in need of any help. If so, follow these steps: 

 

  1. Visit the Nest Service Status to check if you experience any temporary service interruptions. If the System Status is normal and you still can't check your camera's video,
  2. Check the power supply and power cycle your Nest Camera.
    • If the camera is running on battery power, check the remaining charge if it is low.
      • If the battery status displays a low battery (< 20% charge), connect to a power outlet.
      • If the camera is connected to a power outlet, proceed to the next step.
    • Verify that the camera is connected to a working power outlet, and make sure that the breakers are on.
    • Plug the camera into a different power outlet and check if it turns on.
  3. Next, ensure proper network connectivity.
  4. Update your Nest and Home App firmware version to the most recent one.

Exactly the same, tried everything suggested including factory reset, nothing works what's going on I want a replacement.
