Longer recording intervals after detecting motion

I noticed that unlike Ring, Nest Hello only records in short intervals. When it detects motion, it only records up to 10 seconds while there’s still activity happening. Is there a way to select longer recording intervals? With Ring, you can do 10 seconds, 30 seconds or even 60 seconds.

I am guessing that, even though you have selected "Nest Hello", you may actually have the newer Google Nest Doorbell (Battery). The Google Nest Hello Doorbell has no 10-second limitation; in the Google Nest app I can find numerous instances of 59-second events for our Google Nest Hello doorbells, and with 24/7 recording with a Nest Aware Plus subscription, the recording continues past the end of the event, and a manual clip of the entire event (up to some undocumented limitation of around 4 minutes) can be created and downloaded.

Even our new Google Nest Camera (Battery) can be set to a maximum event length of 3 minutes in the Google Home app.

The Google Nest Doorbell (Battery) has limitations because it works only in the Google Home app AND because--even when hard-wired--it does not support 24/7 recording.
