I installed my camera, even put the QR code sticker on the setup instruction sheet as directed, now as I was putting the instruction in the box I noticed the QR code sticker is gone. Needless to say, I'm bummed.
The camera was installed in my mother's nursing home room, it is on their WiFi. This area has lots of storms that occasionally knock out the internet. I do not live in the state so if this happens we lose the ability to help the staff reestablish the connection.
How do I instruct them to proceed without the code. I saw answers in earlier conversation streams that seem to not apply to the Indoor, wired, Gen 2 Nest Cam. Is there a way from an IOS system to recover the code remotely with the SN? Is there a code inside the casing of the Gen 2 camera? I leave town again in a couple of days, I need a backup plan/recovery plan if we lose WiFi connectivity. Thanks!

If you can no longer find the QR code, you need the 6 character alphanumeric setup code that is printed physically on the back of the device, near the power connector. In the Home app, you would tap "continue without scanning" when asked to scan the QR code, and enter that setup code instead.
