Missing Wedge Screw

RyanHolman

When installing my new Nest Doorbell (battery), I lost one of the wedge screws (that attaches the backplate to the wedge) and cannot find it.  I need a replacement.  Does anyone know the size of the screw so I can find one at a hardware store?

Hey there,

Nest Doorbell (battery) comes with the video doorbell, base plate, release tool, 2 wall anchors, 2 wall screws, a wire connector, 20° wedge, 2 spacers, 2 wedge screws, a USB-C to USB-A charging cable (3 ft), quick start guide, and safety and warranty document.

Best Regards,

Brad.

Hi there,

I see some of you have helped them out which is great! I am glad that you found what you needed. I am not able to replace screws. Just checking in to see if you still need assistance with this issue. If so, please let me know and I would love to look into this further for you!

Best Regards,

Brad.

Hello, did you find the size of the wedge screw? I'm in the same situation as you (were?)

I haven't tried it yet to validate, but another user posted on another thread.  I plan to try these:

"Hello, I didn’t get much help from google. But we managed to get some screws which were M3 x L12mm they were slightly long but they managed to fit as there was a slight gap."

Thank you!
