Motion alerts on hub and hub max

Hello,

I want a simple feature implemented with notifications...be able to get alerts to pop up on motion alerts on nest hub and nest hub mask between certain hours of the day. When I sleep I want to know when a person appears in my backyard and force the Google hub to take me up. Ring has very customizable notifications but nest really needs some of these features. Waiting till morning to see notifications doesn't work. I also want to be able to override my silent settings at night. Google please make notifications for motion more useful.

Yooooo! Seriously. I'm super upset about this not being a feature.  I got my nest hub max and a nest floodlight with camera. So tell me why you call it a hub when u can't even get the **bleep** notifications of triggered events from motion on the freakin hub!  I set everything up but was tinkering for almost an hour trying to figure out why my phone is the only thing receiving the motion alerts.  I been looking on reddit and forums and this has been a complaint for 2 years already. Cmon guys. If u want to compete with the completion u gotta have these options. I really feel like I just wasted my money. I shouldve just gone with the ring. You guys are messing up big time with the options. I should've just setup a normal ass android tablet what could do 50 more things and still do the same stuff with just the normal home app. Such a letdown. Weak ass Google hub max. Waste of money. Sorry for the rant but this is stupid!

Yes I agree. It's unfortunate. Why partner with ADT and have no updates at all. I mean the integration is so bad there too. I like the idea of tablet. Perhaps I could just leave an iPad plugged in somewhere. Very sad as ring and Amazon have much better integrations even with Lutron. I have Lutron and can't even control lightening based on camera notifications since the works with nest was also gotten rid of. Sigh. Google please do something about this. Don't like having to do things via if this then that

Absolutely agree - this is very frustrating. I switched from Ring to Nest recently and am super disappointed this isn't an option. Notifications are really lacking on this platform. If I had known that coming in, I probably would not have made the switch.
