Hello NEST Support.
I've had a Nest Doorbell for two years, and no problem. Then earlier this year, I began receiving multiple and many MOTION and SOUND notifications. I've worked with Nest Support to no real solution. So, bought a new Nest Doorbell, and configured it properly yesterday, 4/23. The problem remained. I've reinstalled the NEST App. Same problem remained.
Every sound (a bird singing or wind noise) and every motion (such a leaf falling or paper blowing down the street) cause notifications. Nest Support assured me that my notifications were correct.
My event notifications listing is full of these motion and sound indicators.
This problem seemed to have started when NEST transitioned under GOOGLE. Everything was working fine until early this year.
Any similar experience from anyone?

Not sure I'll be able to help much as you seemed to get all the available help from Support.
I have a Nest Doorbell but use the Google Home app. I also have Nest Aware subscription.
My other cameras can use the Nest app and I have the notifications not to send any sound related ones to me. For those settings: Nest app: Camera>Settings>Notifications>Activity
The newer doorbell uses the Google Home app and that's what I use for mine. I turned Motion off, animals detected but no notifications and I have zones set up.
I just wanted to post and let you know how mine is set up. I don't get too many extra notifications.

Hi Jill, thanks for the quick reply. I've now turned OFF notifications>activity in the Nest App. I'll next open Google Home and turn of animals detection, etc., as well. I'll test this in the next 10 minutes.
