Purchased a new Nest indoor camera to compliment the cameras I already have. Now having completed set up am beginning to regret my decision. Seems that Google have decided to only let new cameras be accessed using the Google Home app and whilst the old cameras show a feed on the Google Home app I cannot scroll history as I can on the Nest app. So now have to use 2 apps. Doesn't feel very 'smart' to me. Does Google plan on fixing this issue, or are we being steered to dispose of perfectly working older cameras so that we buy new ones?

The history video controls in the Home app are definitely different. The controls are described in this help article:
Video history in the Google Home app - Google Nest Help
Does that help?
Newer cameras and doorbells (launched in 2021 or later) are designed for and managed by the Home app. There are no plans for Nest app support, as Google's strategy is to bring over features from the Nest app to the Home app, unifying everything into the Home app. That said, your feedback is crucial to that, so I’d encourage you to also send any feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however the team are still reading the feedback.

Thanks for the reply. Sadly the Home app only appears only to support scrolling of history on the new camera and not the old ones. I have no problem about the moving to a new app, I just want to be able to have the same functionality with my old cameras as I have with the new (scrolling history).
