My Nest Doorbell stopped working after 2 years hardwired but has power using USB connector.

My Nest Hello worked fine hardwire with the previous doorbell wires. I measured the volt with a multimeter and was ranging 24-25V and every worked for a couple of years. Now there's no power connected to the hardwire. Wire still reads 24-25V. I tested the Nest doorbell using the USB power supply and it turns on and everything works. Could there be a hardware issue? Any ideas how to solve the problem? Thank you for your help!

I just rechecked all my connections and the volt is 28V all around from the transformer all the way to the doorbell wire. Any help from anyone?
