My Nest wired Doorbell camera finish that is facing south in a covered porch is cracking and peeling

My Nest wired doorbell camera's clear finish is cracking and peeling off and looks awful.  The camera quality also seems to have degraded as well.  The doorbell is in a covered entranceway that is south facing so not sure why it would have degraded so quickly.  Does Nest replace these?
