They will never work properly you'll always have issues. Send it back get a refund buy another brand.

@gulleywilliam07, do you see any message or code on the app? 

 

@MartinTJ, is your Nest Camera Outdoor wired or battery-powered? If it is wired, make sure that it is completely plugged into the power outlet. If you have a battery-powered camera, make sure that its battery is still sufficient, though it will continue to work if it is unplugged for as long as its battery is charged.
