Is this the first time you're setting up your camera?  A flashing yellow status light can either mean insufficient power or unable to make a connection: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9268073

Hi folks,

@Suz2, thanks for posting here in the Community forum, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. I want to check if you are still in need of any help. If so, please be reminded that the yellow blinking light means that the power adapter plugged into your camera has an incorrect wattage, so keep in mind that some third-party power adapters might not be compatible with your camera. Your camera needs a 7.5-watt USB-A power cable to stay powered and work properly. In this case, we highly recommend you use the power adapter that came with the Nest Camera. If you no longer have it, try to plug the camera into a different power outlet or use a different power cable to charge it.

Let us know how that works.

Best,

Zoe
