My wife keeps getting kicked out of the app

For whatever reason my wife’s keeps getting “ logged off “ of her app.

Happens randomly , can she have her own log in?

Is your wife a member of your Google Nest "household" (Settings | Household in the Google Home app), with her own Google (gmail) account?

Didn’t even know that was an option. 
this is done on the app or where at exactly?

As I said above, go to Settings | Household in the Google Home app to add your wife as a member of your household.
