I am getting an error NC017(3.3) when I try to setup my doorbell. I have nest thermostats and two of the new nest snow cameras on my network without any issues. But when I try to add my doorbell it fails. I am using the same network, I have tried rebooting my iPhone and the doorbell as well but it gets hung up on this step.

I had a similar problem. I didn't realize there was an update available to the GOOGLE HOME app. On the iPhone I went to the app store and search for the GOOGLE HOME app and low and behold there was an update available. As soon as I did the update the new doorbell came right up in the app. Hope this helps

Thank you for the recommendation, unfortunately the application was up to date. I even tried deleting and reinstalling it but that didn’t help.

Is there a support number I can call to get help with this?

hello,
I have 4 nest thermostats in my house but they are not near the front door where I am trying to use the hardwired (not battery) Nest Hello doorbell. I also have 2 of the new Nest snow cameras and they do not have any issue connecting to my wifi. the doorbell goes through the nest app not the google home that the new cameras use. even if I put the Nest camera next to the nest hello doorbell it does not recognize the Nest Cameras.
the link to the troubleshooting guide above does not work.
I have tried rebooting my phone, reinstalling the Nest app, rebooting my router, resetting the Nest Home doorbell, all multiple times. I purchased the doorbell back in March when I bought my 4 nest thermostats but did not try to install it until last week when I bought the 2 nest battery cameras.

How can I move the nest thermostat closer and it still have power? They are not battery powered.

Hey there KenMoylan,
I believe I understand your issue and definitely want to help provide some clarification. The best option for you would be to move your router closer to the thermostats.
Have you tried factory resetting the devices that you are having problems with?
Please let us know if you still are having problems.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

I have tried factory resetting the device several times without any improvement.
my home is newly built and I have an advance WiFi system with devices in the ceiling of every room. One is within 15 feet of the doorbell. I checked with my phone connected to WiFi and currently get download speeds of 330Mbps next to my doorbell. I temporarily moved one of the new nest cameras next to the doorbell and it works fine but still cannot connect with the doorbell.
