All three of our 1st gen Google Nest Hell Doorbells are now peeling. Since Google Nest says it "cannot" replace the doorbells because they are beyond the 1-year warranty, we purchased silicone "skins" on Amazon to cover the peeling shards.

That is ridiculous, they should replace as this is not acceptable in any shape or form.
do you have a link to the silicone skins please

I am not happy at all. They should replace them as no fault of ours…. Or at the very least pay for silicone skins

You can search Amazon for "silicone case Google Nest Hello Doorbell" and find the ones that are suitable for the 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell. (Most of the results are NOT for the Nest Hello but are for the 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell.). We got elago skins/cases that do NOT cover the camera, the button, or the IR night vision lights.

Hi ASIF786,
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I understand how frustrating it must be that your Nest Doorbell is peeling off. I am here to help! The team would like to learn more about this behavior. When you get a chance, please fill out this form and let us know when you’re finished. We’ll have someone reach out to you via email from there.
Keep me posted.
Best regards,
Juan

I have the same issue with my doorbell. Contacted Google and they are not willing to help. I read on Reddit its a design fault - so imo this should also be fixed outside the warranty

Again they said it falls out of warranty. Its like buying a new car and then they find out the brakes are no good, design fault, but hey its out of warranty, so its your problem now,
Really dissapointed in Google tbh. Really dissapointed.
BTW, which one did u buy?
