Neat Cam charging battery

Nest Cam was low on battery. I plugged in the 30ft cord that is made for the camera but it still will not charge . Am I missing something? How do you properly charge the camera ?

@Franco33947

We have our Google Nest Camera (Battery) plugged in all the time with the optional 10-meter power cable, and it stays at 100% (with temperatures so far down to 3 degrees Fahrenheit). When it's plugged in, under Settings | Battery, it shows as "Plugged In". When we disconnect it from power it displays as "Idle" and shows the battery percentage. Google's Nest Help page says it can take 5 hours to charge.

Hey there,

So sorry for my late response! But we have released an article on Cold Weather charging, and I believe that this is probably the same issue that you may be having. Here is the link to the article. Take a look at it, and I hope that your charging issues have lessened, or gone away since this thread post. Please let me know if you need further assistance with this issue.

Best regards,

Brad.
