I had to take my doorbell down due to some wiring issues and it had stopped working. Now I cannot find where I put the mounting baseplate for my doorbell. Where can I get a replacement mounting base? I saw one on Amazon but it is not Google and appears to be 3d printed.
thanks

If you have access to a 3D printer. Or can look up someone who will print locally or ship to you.
You can Google Yeggi which is a search engine for searching for 3D parts. And then put in a description of your device.
I found a second generation one by using the search term
google nest doorbell mounting plate
Hope this helps

Google Nest does not sell any spare parts, but judging from posts in this forum, Support sometimes provides replacements if you are under warranty. To contact Support:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

Thank you but I would much rather have the metal original type.

You were absolutely right as mine was still under warranty they are sending me a new door bell that will come with the mounting plate and I will send mine that is missing the baseplate back. All I had to do is put a safety hold on my credit card in case I don’t send my old one back. Thank you!!
