Need to use Google Home with my own domain (now called Google Workspace)

For many years, I have had a family domain name set up with individual Google accounts for each member of my family. it's great because our addresses are basically firstname@lastname.com and we can take full advantage of all google features via a "Google Apps For your Domain" -> now called "Google Workspace".

We've got all our google photos, gmails, drive files, everything attached to these accounts for OVER A DECADE OF HISTORY.

Except "Google Home" won't work with these Google accounts. suddenPlease remove this restriction! I'm paying good money for Google Workspace for my whole family, suddenly after many years, Google restricts Home  services so we can't use them.
