Hello,
I am not sure if I searching in the right location, I have my house full of "ARLO camera system", I like how good it is but most of my items are google and I would like my family to have access to the history in an easier way. This is the reason why I am looking for Google Nest Cam, I'm thinking of the Nest Outdoor 2nd Gen but I would like to have it connected via solar panels plus 24/7 surveillance; is this possible?
I already have a Nest subscription so that would not be an issue, please help me if you have the answer.
thank you for your time, good day.

We've had a battery camera plugged into household current with the optional power cable since Sept. 2021. It records 24/7 with our Nest Aware Plus subscription.
However, according to Google Nest, "If you’ve connected your Nest Cam (battery) to the Wasserstein Solar Panel, the panel doesn’t directly power the camera. Instead, the battery is trickle charged by the panel, and the camera runs off the battery charge."

And if the battery camera is running off of battery power, it cannot record 24/7: "The Nest Cam (battery) must be connected to a power source to have 24/7 video history. If your camera is battery-powered, it'll only have event video history, even if you have a Nest Aware Plus subscription."

You would need to subscribe to nest aware plus for 24/7 recording but the 24/7 recording will only be maintained for 10 days. There will be event based recordings maintained for 60 days.
You will also need to purchase a weatherproof cable to power the outdoor cameras if you want to enable 24/7 recording from them. https://store.google.com/product/nest_cam_weatherproof_cable?hl=en-GB
