Nest 2nd Gen / Wired Doorbell not being Found in Nest App

I installed my nest gen 2 / wired doorbell using the Google Home app, but now I can't see and install it in the Nest app. I tried doing a factory reset but every time it gets to the point in the install that says to click on the last 4 digits of the serial number that should be listed, nothing comes up. I don't see anything.

I had a first gen wired doorbell that I replaced with the 2nd gen, and the firs gen wired bell worked in the Nest app. When I removed it and installed the 2nd gen in Google Home, I can no longer find a nest doorbell in the Nest app to add it to my nest landing page.

I have the same problem. Adding the gen 2/wired doorbell put in in the Google Home app. The Google Home app shows all my devices, but I can only view the recorded history for the gen 2 doorbell. To view the history for the other cameras requires going back to the Nest app. My Nest thermostat is available in both. If I had known this I might not have bought the gen 2 doorbell!

Unfortunately, all of Google Nest's 2nd gen cameras and doorbells work only in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app.  We discovered that when we bought a battery camera in Sept. 2021 and have had to use 2 apps for our Google Nest cameras and doorbells ever since.
