Nest App Crashing on iPhone

NashCarter

My Nest app crashes multiple times almost every single time I try to use the app. Makes reviewing video extremely difficult and frustrating. I have multiple cameras at home, at a vacation property and at a business and I can barely view any of them! Any word from Google that this is being looked into? A simple search on Google shows that I’m not the only one having this problem and troubleshooting the phones aren’t fixing anything!

@NashCarter

When you say the Google Nest app is "crashing", what do you mean?  Is the app locking up? If you mean that the video is hanging or you're getting that spinning blue circle, it could be issues with the Wi-Fi at your home and/or at your vacation property.

You could try deleting and reinstalling your Google Nest app to see if that makes a difference.

Do you have the same problem if you try to access your cameras from a computer on the home.nest.com website?

Hi everyone,

@NashCarter, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To confirm, have you tried checking your Nest Camera with a different mobile phone? Were you able to perform the steps suggested above? Also, we would appreciate it if you could share the information that MplsCustomer is asking above. We'd be glad to hear from you.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Regards,

Emerson
